Evans Kiptoo Named NJCAA Region VI Men's Coach of the Year

Evans Kiptoo was named 2021 NJCAA Region VI Men's Coach of the Year for Division I Cross Country on Saturday at the Region VI Championships. The Maverick Men's Cross Country has had a very successful year under Coach Kiptoo, as shown Saturday, where the team placed 3rd, the highest regional finish in school history.

Northwest Tech's Men's Cross Country also had three athletes named Regional All-Americans this year: Vincent Nchogu, Enock Kimutai, and Oliver Kiptoo. To add to this success, Vincent Nchogu has been named National Athlete of the Week and KJCCC Runner of the Week three times this season. The NT Men's Cross Country Team is now in the process of preparing for Nationals held on November 13th & 16th in Richmond, VA.
