Tech Wrestling Wins Over Colby

Northwest Tech Wrestling comes away with a win against Colby Community College on Monday. The final score was 30-27, with forfeits at the Mavericks' 141, 157, and 165 weight classes. 

"I'm so proud of these young men," commented Coach Guillot. "Tonight was one of those circumstances you hope doesn't happen. We gave up three forfeits due to sick or injured wrestlers, bumping Jameel Coles to 197 lbs and Jayshon Hines to heavyweight. Jett Strickenberger gets a pin a 125 in dominant fashion. Aston Habeil put on an explosive hammer at 174 lbs to end it with a pin. Jameel Coles showed his dominance, as he has all year, by pinning his opponent. And Jayshon Hines came through with a pin to seal the meet."
