Tigers Compete at Alex Francis Classic
Fort Hays Tech Northwest Track & Field competed at the FHSU Alex Francis Classic on Friday in Hays, Kansas.
Sprints & Field Events:
Noah Mitchell placed 13th in the 400m run, with a time of 52.79 seconds.
Long & Middle Distance:
In the women's 800m run, Carolyne Jepkosgei placed 4th, with a time of 2:33.13.
In the men's 800m run, Sibonokuhle Thwala placed 1st, with a time of 1:55.80; Salisu Habibu placed 2nd, with a time of 1:57.50; and Maciej Bachlaj finished 7th, with a time of 2:05.50.
In the women's 5000m run, Celestine Kiborus placed 3rd, with a time of 19:21.66.
FHNW's next meet will be at the Region 6 Outdoor Championships in Coffeyville, Kansas, on Thursday, May 1st.
