The TechTigers are a group of students committed to advancing the knowledge, understanding, and application of math, science, and technology through robotics. Each individual shares a passion for learning and a desire to share their excitement with fellow students and adults alike. In short, we think it's "Cool to be Smart"!
Home for the TechTigers is Atlantic Technical Center Magnet High School in Coconut Creek, FL, Butterfly Capital of the World. We're located 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean - hence we enjoy the beaches, outdoor activities year-round, and experience a hurricane from time to time.
Our first year of existence was the 2003/2004 school year. Back then we had a total of 9 students participate in the program. This year we have 35 students on our roster, all eager to contribute to the continuing success of the team.
